This was all about a comment about taking a swim on the devil's falls and because one person talk christianity everyone went over the rock and abuse him. Everyone have they own opinion. That was his. I personally love those pics. I am extremely adventurous but i would never take my kids up they.This is diffinately one place that should be visited.

I think it's sad that people like Hizzoner exist, because in a round about way, they're NOT existing.

To think I could 'live' my life seeing everything in such a black and white manner is a sad and scary thought. Most of the religious people I have met have had some kind of underlying personal instability - I just thank my parents for letting me grow up using my own reasoning to guide my thought processes, rather than being methodically repressed by overbearing ill-informed parents.

Looks like fun, but I don't like the idea of having a kid so close to the edge. Just the other day a father was fishing off a wharf with his sons, one 14mths and the other 4 years, who fell in the ocean. The father jumped in to save them but unfortunately all three died. I just don't like taking chances.

The pictures are cool. I could see one of my kids trying to get close to the edge if we were there, therefore the exercise of caution is probably a wise thing.

Speaking here from experience, I went there in September 2006 and jumped into that pool, it is a lot safer than it looks but damn scary nevertheless.

There are rocks stopping you from going over, you can of course jump over but that would be stupid!

The only thing going through mind was the geology of the location, Victoria falls does not stay in the same place, the falls have moved several kilometers upstream over time. My only concern was a drastic collapse of that section of the falls due to erosion, but that would be extremely unfortunate if that were to happen the moment I was swimming it in!

There is an island nearby that you go to by motorised canoe, it has a toilet surrounded by bamboo on three side, you can sit there and take a dump on top of Victoria falls, now that was awesome lol!

Boy, a really cool natural phenomenom and all these people start freaking out on child endangerment, religion, photoshopping... etc. Can't we all just appreciate a cool thing when we see it? Can we not believe that something this neat and beautiful is both real and safe? I would just be careful about what time of the year I would go--for example early spring or right after a rain storm, etc.
